Luna, Apayao – In a move aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency, and compliance with ease of doing business guidelines, the Regional Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) team conducted a surprise visit and inspection at the Municipal Local Government Unit of Luna, Apayao on 21 November 2024. The unannounced inspection was part of ARTA’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that government offices deliver quality public service in adherence to Republic Act 11032, also known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.”
The team arrived at the premises early in the day without prior notification to ensure that the agency’s regular operations could be observed without interference. Furthermore, the team discussed their key findings and observations during the inspection and conducted an on-the-spot briefing with the MLGU Team to provide preliminary recommendations.
This surprise inspection underscores ARTA’s unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency in government service. Citizens are encouraged to report inefficiencies or commend exemplary practices through ARTA’s official feedback channels.
