
BAGUIO CITY – The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Luna – a pilot LGU of the program, the Department of the Interior and Local Government-Cordillera Administrative Region (DILG-CAR), and line agency partners formalized their partnership today through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Recovery Initiatives towards Sustained Local Economies (RISE) Program. The signing ceremony, held at the DILG-CAR office, underscores a shared commitment to strengthening local economies and fostering community resilience.
Aside from the representatives of the supportive line agency partners, witnessing this significant event were Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC) Milflorence A. Villafuerte, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Joan-ana J. Dumalsin, and Business Permit and Licensing Officer (BPLO) Ar-jay O. Cachero. Municipal Mayor Josephine M. Bangsil signed the MOA beforehand – signifying her acceptance and commitment to the program implementation.
The RISE Program seeks to implement initiatives that stimulate local economic recovery, improve infrastructure, and ensure sustainable growth. This partnership marks a pivotal step in empowering communities and driving inclusive development in Luna and across the Cordillera region.
