Flora, Apayao – Municipal Mayor Josephine M. Bangsil graced the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration-Cordillera Administrative Region (OWWA-CAR) Family Day on 13 December 2024, at the Dr. Efren I. De San Jose Sports Complex. The event, organized by OWWA-CAR and OWWA-Aoayao, was a vibrant gathering of both active and inactive Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from the seven municipalities of the Province of Apayao.

In her words, Mayor Josie emphasized the invaluable contributions of OFWs to their families and communities, highlighting their role as modern-day heroes who continue to uplift the local economy.

The OWWA-CAR Family Day featured a variety of activities, including games, entertainment, and information-sharing sessions, fostering camaraderie and unity among the attendees.

The Mayor’s presence underscored the local government’s commitment to supporting OFWs and their families, ensuring they remain integral members of the community.
