The Province of Apayao, through the leadership of the Lone District of Apayao Representative Eleanor C. Bulut-Begtang and Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr. represented by Vice Governor Remy N. Albano, supported the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) in their conduct of the Orientation-Seminar on the Magna Carta of the Poor (RA 11291) and the Local Poverty Reduction Action Plan (LPRAP) among representatives from the provincial and municipal government units at the Luna Municipal Conference Hall, Poblacion, Luna, Apayao TODAY.
Municipal Mayor Josephine M. Bangsil warmly welcomed the guests and participants and expressed her gratification, as well as the support, to this undertaking of NAPC on behalf of the seven (7) municipalities of the province.
In the words of Undersecretary Esnaen M. Catong, NAPC Deputy Director-General, NAPC is conducting the orientation seminar to assist the LGUs in the formulation of their respective LPRAPS – which will be integrated into the National Poverty Reduction Plan.
