Overseas Workers Welfare Administration spearheaded MOA signing with the Provincial government of Apayao and Local Government Officials on 26 February 2026 at ATSC San Gregorio, Luna, Apayao.

OWWA-CAR Director Ms. Dina C. Ponciano, Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr., Administrative Assistant-OWWA Apayao Ms. Rejoice C. Cabrera and Municipal Mayors joined the signing of Memorandum of Agreement today 26 February 2026 at ATSC San Gregorio, Luna, Apayao.

Honorable Mayor Januario S. Garde shared his opening remarks to all the guests, officials, and local participants where he acknowledged the help of the OFWs in the economic sector of the locality.

The agreement strengthens collaboration of the agencies in extending assistance to the community as desk officers will be assigned to every municipality to cater the needs and ensures easy access of OFW to the services of OWWA.

Alongside with the MOA signing, OWWA also distributed OFW Tulong Pangkabuhayan to OFW organizations in the province. Qurino OFW Dependent organization was one of the recipients, receiving 959,200.00 pesos for their Agrifam supply business venture.
