Luna, Apayao – During the visit of PDAO Gretchen Garcia earlier, Mayor Januario S. Garde asked the officer to provide the soonest possible time the list of the mandated buildings of the DSWD so that the LGU can plot their ideal sites.

‘’We have no problem with the provision of lots for building requests, it’s just that… kindly provide us the list of the DSWD that needs buildings or facilities para minsanan, we can plan for an ideal site para organized, ‘’ the mayor said.

‘’Dapat nasa iisang venue yung mga offices ng DSWD para hindi mahirapan ang mga tao, at accessible sa isang site ung mga programs and services,’’ he added.

The recommendation from the mayor is to promptly respond to the 2,000sqm lot request from Provincial Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr. for the construction of a multi-purpose building for PWDs and Senior Citizens.

The Ten million (P10,000,000) fund was requested and obtained by Congresswoman Eleanor Bulut-Begtang. In response, PDAO Garcia affirmed assurance to the mayor the provision of said list so that the realization of erecting the buildings will be sped up.
