The Municipality of Luna has one (1) general hospital, the Far North Luzon General Hospital and Training Center. It has a total number of personnel of One Hundred Eighty (180), composed of: Fifty (50) doctors, One Hundred (100) nurses, and thirty (30) midwives. It can accommodate 150 number of patients from the municipality, from other municipalities in Apayao, and also, some are from the nearby municipalities of Cagayan.
There are six (6) Barangay Health Stations and one (1) Municipal Health Center that operate in the municipality. These are maintained by the Local Government Unit and provide general medical services, immunization, dental services, family planning, sanitary inspection and referrals among others to the populace. Seminars and trainings on health related subjects and activities are conducted to increase health awareness of the populace. These Barangay Health Stations can also serve as birthing clinics to pregnant women in the barangay.
In terms of health manpower, the populace is being served by one doctor, one public health nurse, five midwives, one dental aide, one nursing aide, a sanitary inspector, one medical technologist and one laboratory aide.
