Supporting the Local Chief Executive in the implementation of the various programs and projects of the local government unit is the Legislative Body composed of the Sangguniang Bayan members headed by the Municipal Vice- Mayor.

Assisting in the delivery of basic services to the people of Luna, the local government unit has twelve (12) departments/offices, each of which has respective department heads. At present the total work force of the local government unit of Luna is 128 which include 13 elective officials, 97 permanent employees, 3 occupying co-terminus positions and 28 under job order contract.
